Coaching helps foster a creative partnership that aims to improve quality of life and assist in finding solutions and strategies, as well as enhancing the qualities and skills already present.
What is the difference between life coaching and counseling?
Coaching is more present and future-oriented, whereas counseling attempts to explore past events, issues, or trauma, as well as linking these past events to current patterns/events continuing into the present. Specifically, counseling attempts to heal past traumas, examines the influence of family of origin or intergenerational trauma, explores coping skills, increases awareness of thoughts/emotions, and helps address and treat psychological disorders. Coaching, on the other hand, is not therapy or mental health treatment, but can help assist in life transitions, discovering healthier lifestyle choices, cultivating greater awareness of mind/body connection, and overcoming personal setbacks or challenges.
How much does a coaching session cost?
$70 to $100 per hour session or $260 for four sessions a month.

A coaching session generally provides weekly or biweekly structure and support to identify goals, strategize, and formulate an individualized plan, and hold client accountable. Coaching sessions also provide a platform to adjust goals, creatively problem solve, and re-evaluate progress. Coaching helps clients maximize their creative potential, prioritize goals, and refine time-management and other important life skills.
