Dawn Tillman (she/her), Licensed Associate Counselor

I was born and raised in Arizona and love the desert!  I graduated from the University of Arizona with my Bachelor's degree in Sociology, then continued to pursue my Master's degree at Grand Canyon University in Mental Health Counseling.

I entered the counseling field as a second career with more life experience, maturity, and a greater understanding of the complexity of people and relationship dynamics.  I truly enjoy being able to help people navigate the everyday and phase of life challenges and do so, by helping you tap into your inner strength, courage, and resiliency. I utilize a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.  I very much believe in self-care and the power of neuroplasticity, which is our ability re-wire our brains to think more positively, have a brighter outlook, and ultimately make more conscious choices and changes.
